SPEECH PATHOLOGIST 0.73 EFT

(28 hours per week negotiable).

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our Primary Care team.

The role of the Speech Pathologist is to assess, diagnose, treat and provide management services to a broad range of clients in the community, including children and adults with communication or swallowing disorders, and those with difficulties in speech, language, voice, fluency, and literacy. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with families, aged care facilities, day care centres, local schools and other organisations to deliver Speech Pathology services and promote the importance of early intervention.

The successful candidate will be well supported within a team of allied health professionals.

MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN

Maternity Leave Replacement (fixed term)

Part time - .63 EFT Immediate start to 5th January 2021

Applications are invited for a fixed term position for an experienced Mental Health Clinician (Psychologist, Counsellor, Social Worker or Registered Nurse with post graduate qualifications in Mental Health) providing counselling and casework services across Primary Health and our acute ward. There is flexibility to split the hours across more than one position if required.

Alexandra District Health (ADH) is a fully accredited acute and Primary Health facility in North-East Victoria. ADH provides medical and surgical care in a wide range of specialties, as well as multiple Primary Health programs.

In this role you will enjoy the opportunity to collaborate with members of the multi-disciplinary team, providing individual activities. There is an opportunity to implement group-based activities. You will need current AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership of the AASW, driver’s license, flexible approach to working with new people and be passionate about and have experience in supporting mental health services within the community.

SUPPORT SERVICES ASSISTANTS (CATERING AND DOMESTIC) – CASUAL

Alexandra District Health is a major health service within the Shire of Murrindindi and has long and proud history in health-related service provision to the area, providing inpatient, outpatient services and primary health services.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The casual positions are responsible for assisting in the preparation of meals, the administration of food services, the distribution of meals and the cleanliness of the kitchen ensuring Food Safety Plan (FSP) objectives are met at all times.

Whilst working within the domestic services area staff are responsible for maintenance of hygiene and cleanliness standards in the hospital, ensuring the work place is safe at all times for patients, clients, staff and the community.
