Alexandra District Health is seeking a suitably experienced Facilities Manager to manage the maintenance program for this small rural health service. This new position commences in Feb 2018 and is a permanent role.
Your primary role will be general oversight of sites (Alexandra and Eildon), equipment and infrastructure maintenance. You will also be responsible for the management of the internal maintenance team and coordination of external contractors.
You will be expected to work within a budget and report expenditures in accordance with relevant government legislation.
A thorough understanding of OH&S and Emergency planning regulations in regard to Facilities Maintenance is a requirement of the role
Previous experience and/or qualifications in a trade specifically electrical or carpentry and plumbing desirable. Demonstrated experience working in a customer facing work place, managing a wide range of maintenance works is essential.
Experience in the health sector is also highly valued.

Alexandra District Health is seeking experienced and suitably qualified Registered Nurses for these management roles.
In the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager you will be required to lead, direct and co-ordinate patient care in our 31 bed hospital. The ANUM is responsible for maintaining clinical standards and best practice, through continual quality improvement initiatives and evidence based risk management strategies.
Advanced clinical, leadership and management skills are essential with a commitment to own personal and professional development. Demonstration of negotiation and conflict resolution skills, decision making and communication skills with the ability to manage change are essential in this rural setting.
