Alexandra District Health is a major health service within the Shire of Murrindindi and has long and proud history in health related service provision to the area, providing inpatient, outpatient services and community health services.

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic candidate to undertake a range of HR tasks, including coordination of recruitment, policy development, performance management, employee relations, HR reporting, and HR administration.  The position will provide support to the Executive to deliver people related initiatives and outcomes to create a high performing culture, and build a reputation in the health sector and region as an employer of choice.

The position is a newly created opportunity, which requires an astute professional to support the Executive and managers, and provide support to staff in all areas of human resources

This is a genuine opportunity to put your own mark on the role and make a difference.  Work under the direction of a motivated Chief Executive Officer, supported by an experienced Manager People & Culture.

You will possess experience within the human resources function, ideally within a health, public service, or related environment.  You will possess qualifications in human resources or similar, or willing to undertake study.  Use your demonstrable administration and coordination skills to learn all the facets of the People and Culture function, along with your exceptional communication skills, coupled with your ability to manage multiple stakeholder engagement.

We are currently recruiting staff that are highly organised and have a strong focus on quality and cleanliness.  To be successful you will have strong leadership qualities with the ability to direct and encourage others. If you have advanced cooking skills, a trade background or experience cooking in commercial kitchens and want to work more sociable hours then this job is for you.


Catering and Domestic Services Assistants:

We are looking for staff with an attention to detail, an understanding of hygiene standards and a commitment to teamwork. Previous experience in these roles would be an advantage.
