Food and Domestic Service Assistants

Experienced persons to work as Domestic and Food Services Assistants.

The successful applicants will be highly organised and have a strong focus on quality and cleanliness.  They will have a strong focus on teamwork, be able to take direction and work alone if required.

We are looking for staff with attention to detail, an understanding of hygiene standards and a commitment to teamwork. Previous experience in these roles would be an advantage.

Nurse Unit Manager

Alexandra District Health is the major health service organisation within the Shire of Murrindindi and has a long and proud history in health related service provision to the area, providing inpatient and outpatient services including specialist medical services, operating theatre services, radiology, pathology and district nursing. In addition the hospital delivers community health services including a wide range of allied health and health promotion services.

We are seeking an experienced manager to lead, direct and co-ordinate patient care within our 26 bed Acute ward and 3 bay Urgent Care service. You will be responsible for maintaining clinical standards and best practice, through continual quality improvement initiatives and evidence based risk management strategies.

You will possess advanced clinical skills, exceptional leadership and demonstrable management experience with a commitment to personal and professional development.  Demonstration of negotiation and conflict resolution skills, decision making and communication skills with the ability to manage change are essential in this rural setting.  Candidates will have a current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
