SUPPORT SERVICES ASSISTANTS (CATERING AND DOMESTIC) – CASUAL

 

Alexandra District Health is looking for Support Services Assistants in both Catering and Domestic services, to join our team in a casual capacity.

Applicants may have previous experience working in hospitality or domestic services setting or a willingness and enthusiasm to learn. Applicants will need to be flexible and available to work a rotating roster including weekends.

Training and Development Coach (Clinical Nurse Educator)

Permanent Part-Time 40 hours per fortnight

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, dynamic and highly motivated Registered Nurse, with experience in education and training to join our team as Training and Development Coach (Clinical Nurse Educator).  Reporting to the Manager Training & Development, this organisational wide role includes facilitating education, training and support for existing and new staff, undergraduate students, graduate nurse & transition to practice program participants, and some community engagement educational initiatives.

Registered Nurses (casual bank)

We are seeking experienced and suitably qualified Registered Nurses (RN) to join the Acute Services clinical team in a casual capacity.

You will work with the clinical leadership team to coordinate patient care on our 25 bed Acute Ward and Urgent Care, ensuring that patients are encouraged to be partners in care planning, goal setting and decision making, and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to achieve desired health outcomes for patients. The RN maintains clinical standards and best practice, through continual quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based risk management strategies.

You will encourage a positive working team environment by fostering the ADH values, as well as facilitating education & support for junior staff, graduates and students.

You will have advanced clinical skills with experience in acute nursing, including palliative care, emergency nursing and medical/surgical nursing. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to own personal and professional development. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage change are essential in this rural setting.

Applicants will be prepared to work all shifts including night duty, weekends and public holidays.

SUPPORT SERVICES ASSISTANTS (CATERING AND DOMESTIC) – CASUAL

The casual positions are responsible for assisting in the preparation of meals, the administration of food services, the distribution of meals and the cleanliness of the kitchen ensuring Food Safety Plan (FSP) objectives are met at all times.

Whilst working within the domestic services area staff are responsible for maintenance of hygiene and cleanliness standards in the hospital, ensuring the work place is safe at all times for patients, clients, staff and the community.
